For management in government the prime colleges are IIMs and some IITs. 

Not to mention the famous IIM ABC, these three are the major and premier IIMs and admission to it is very though. For this one must have a great track record of academics and other co-curricular activites as well. Having a fair GPA in undergraduation and having work experience provides you a privelage among others.

On other cases IIM ILK are the second tier IIMs and getting admission here is equally though as well. 

Not all IITs provide good MBA among the top 7 only KGP and MADRAS are famous for there MBA and also makes top in list.

For IIMs you have to give CAT which takes place once a year.
