Hello Aspirant,

Step wise process to take admission in IIT:-

  • Start preparing for IIT entrance examination which is called jee examination.
  • To give the entrance examination for IIT you have to qualify one more paper which is called JEE mains paper.
  • After clearing the cutoff of JEE mains paper then you have a chance to go for JEE advanced paper for getting admission in IIT.
  • In case you don't qualify JEE mains cut off then there is no chance to to get admission in IIT without clearing the cutoff of JEE Mains.
  • If you to clear the cutoff of JEE Mains then you have a chance to give the JEE advanced paper.
  • If you qualify the cutoff of JEE advanced and get a good rank then you have a chance to get good IIT with good branch for this you have to go for counselling and get college.

So this is the whole process to get admission in IIT.
