After completion of your MBBS and the compulsory internship, you can join the Armed Forces Medical Services as a Doctor in the AMC as a  Flight Lieutenant in case of IAF. The selection is made on the basis of an interview, knowledge of medical subjects, medical fitness etc. The process of selection is made around January and June and you can apply around the months August and February.
