I think you should have asked the question itself instead of this question. Whatever it is, the common part is, that you have to choose colleges according to how good they are, and also according to the branch that you want. So finally, set a preference list where you put the college and course of your preference at the top, and you will get the college and course at the top of your list according to your merit.
