Hello Ria,

To become a dermatologist requires many years of education. A person must successfully complete:

College, earning a bachelor's degree.

Medical school, becoming a medical doctor (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO).

Internship, 1 year.
Residency program in dermatology, at least 3 years.

So your 12 th marks will matter in order to achieve good college to complete your degree .

I mean along with scores of entrance exams neet ug and pg.. are class 12th board percentage also play a role in getting admission into colleges? Like, apart from fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria of 50% for general category and 40% for sc/st?

Apart from fulfilling basic eligibility criteria your 12 th score will not play any role in your admission process. Your admission will be totally based on your NEET or entrance exam score.
