Hi,

You can pursue your higher education in any stream & that won't hinder your goals of becoming a business person. To lead a successful business, you need a solid business idea, execution plan, & the determination to work hard & face failures are few of the many attributes that you need to develop.

Having said that, you may know that choosing commerce can help you in gaining knowledge about business as it comprises of subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Commerce, Economics, Economic Geography, etc.

After completing 12th, you can pursue courses like Bachelor of Business Administration- (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management – (BBM), BBA + a Diploma in Business Administration- {BBA+DBA), BBA + Graduate Diploma in Business Management- (BBA+ GDBM), Bachelor in Business Economics- (BBE).

This courses will help you gain insight on different aspects of business & entrepreneurship & help you achieve your business goals.

Hope this helps.
