CLAT & MH-CET both are the entrance exams for LLB.

CLAT is a centralized test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. For further details about CLAT check their official site- https://www.clat.ac.in/

MH-CET or Maharastra Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance exam conducted for entrance in different fields. For further details about MH-CET, you can check their official site- www.mahacet.org

Hello Mahek

CLAT offers only 5 year BA.LLB course and LLM. However, MH LAW CET offers both 5 year and 3 year LLB Programme.

So, for LLB you have to fill MH LAW CET. Details about the exam is mentioned in the following links:

(2) https://law.careers360.com/articles/mh-cet-law-application-form

MH LAW CET 2019 application form will be available from 2nd week of april 2019 till 2nd week of may and exam is on 11th may 2019.

Hi student,

You should give CLAT 2019 to pursue LLB.

MHT CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission into Engineering and Allied Health Sciences courses in Maharashtra.

Whereas CLAT is to be given in order to secure admission in BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BSW LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes on offer at the NLUs.

Good luck!

Hello Mahek

Mh cet is basically a test conducted by law colleges of only Maharashtra. Also, if you don't possess a domicile certificate of Maharashtra there are very less chances for you to get selected since seats for non masharashtran students is from 30-35%

.

CLAT on the other hand is a common entrance for law colleges from all states of country. It's a national exam.

.

So it is up to you which entrance you want to give.

All the best
