There are some popular entrance exams for pursuing career in marine engineering, which are :-

1. MERI (Marine Engineering & Research Institute Entrance Exams)

2. IMU CET (Indian maritime University Common Entrance Test)

3. IIT JEE 

4. AICET (All India Common Entrance Test) 

Also, in India, there are a number of good colleges in this domain. IITs are the best, especially IIT Mumbai. Then there are International Marine Communication Centre, Marine Engineering Research Institute, Indian Maritime University etc.
