In companies like Himalaya, Ranbaxy etc there are different types of different who club together to work on projects. Some works on production and some works on designing of drugs, research and development.

The fields you may choose in order to get in pharmaceutical companies are:

• B.Pharm
• BTech in Chemical Engineering
• Microbiology/Virology/Bioechemistry
• Medicinal Chemistry (You have to get admitted for BSc Chemistry then you can pursue MSc in the said subject)

So this are the subjects which have the most possibilities going on.

Also there are some companies who works on Advanced medicinal drugs and cancer drugs have the necessity of Nuclear Medicine graduates (PhD is more preferred)

So this are some of the courses you can follow. But if you are looking for short term courses then BPharm or BTech chemical engineering will be the best. Except that the other courses will need some good amount of time investments.
