I want to prepare for JAM during my BSc course in physics.Which books should I choose to study?Are the books provided in the college enough?Are the books written by foreign authors useful?

Best book for the preparation for JAM Physics are-

  • Mathematical Models for Physics and Engineering  by Riley , Hobson and Bence
  • Thermodynamics by Zemanski Dittman, Saha Srivastava/ F.W. Sears and G.L. Salinger
  • Molecular and Atomic Physics by Rajkumar / white
  • Classical Mechanics by Herbert Goldstein
  • Classical Mechanics by John. R. Taylor.
