Hie dear..

Myself being ab PGDM student with Hr and Marketing , i would suggest you to take either marketing or finance as your minor, because it will really help you. As there are very less jobs in HR , in placement you will be eligible to sit with both HR and mktng or finance..

I hope it helps you.

Thanks.

But choosing between marketing and finance is also a confusing question for me as marketing consists of subjects like digital marketing which can be helpful in HR area but finance has salaries and taxation which is again a topic to be considered for an HR manager. What should i choose between these two? Please help!

Dear Aspirant,

As you want to pursue HR as major, so IB would be a better minor subject. So that you understand the business operations on global level. But if you are interested to work in IT company later or marketing then think of it. Understand where you want to pursue your career being an HR manager and in which sector.

Hope this helps
