To admission to b.tech course in second year as a lateral entry candidate, you must process a pass certificate on diploma engineering from a recognized Institute and affiliated board. admission is based on score in diploma course or Individual entrance test as per state wise. some of the test are, JELET for west bengal, bihar polytechnic entrance test etc.

for state like maharastra admission is based on score in diploma course, colleges in allotted by online counselling process.
