You've not mention any specific college, each college has its own admission process, for some it's merit based while others conduct entrance test regarding the same. Some of the top colleges for BA Geography(Hons) are Indraprastha College  for Wome,Miranda House,Kalindi College,Patna Women's College

Just to let you know, BHU has commenced its registration for graduate courses, BHU-UET is conducted for its admission, if you're interested you can apply for the same.
