A Domicile certificate has to obtained from the school she has passed her class 12 th exam. This certificate is isssued based on the student's school education record. It is given in the  website . A Black Proforma is given in the WBJEE website  and it has to be downloaded and two copies are to be printed on A4 size white paper. Then both the  copies of the Certificate must be filled  properly and  signed by a competent Authority. And then the Duplicate Copy of the Certificate is retained in the Office of the Issuing Authority for future verification.

As per the WBJEE official brochure, the eligibility for the domicile is that the student must be living in the state for atleast last 10 years or if his/her parents have a permanent address within the state of westbengal.

The competent authority to issue the Domicile Authority:

• DISTRICT MAGISTRATE, ADDITIONAL DISTRICT MAGISTRATE, DEPUTY DISTRICT MAGISTRATE,SUB-DIVISIONAL OFFICER, BLOCK DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
• SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE, ADDITIONAL SP, DEPUTY SP
