However PDPU being a specialist college in Petro-Chemical engineering, I would recommend you to opt for some other institute if you wish to be a part of the IT industry.

CSE at VIT chennai is unquestionably prestigious and a good option if you wish to be in core IT i.e developer, tester, DBA, Network adminstrator,etc.

Also, the placements at VIT Chennai are great and companies like TCS, Infosys,Wipro come to the college for placements.
