Both the colleges either IES or WeSchool Welingkar offers Post Graduation Diploma(PGDM) in Media and Entertainment. Indian Education Society is one of India's oldest Public Charitable Trusts committed to education and successfully running 67 Institutions. On the other hand, Founded in 1888, Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali is one of the pioneers of educational societies in Maharashtra. 

Eligibility Criteria: To take admission into any of the above mention school, the student needs to have minimum 50% marks in his/her graduation and should give CMAT, CAT, XAT or ATMA exam.

Infrastructure and Faculty: While comparing the infrastructure and faculty facilities provided at the campus. No doubt, Welingkar Institute comes out with flying colours. The building is amazing and gorgeous in Welingkar campus. Close proximity to metropolitan cities is the reason why this institute attracts some of the best minds across the nation.

Both colleges offer PGDM degree which is a two-year diploma course equivalent to master's level course in India.

Fee and Placements: The course fee for Media and Communication at Welingkar is somewhere around 5.5 lac per annum +2 lac (hostel+mess+library) but, the college has a very decent ROI, the average salary at the college is 7.75 lac CTC and highest salary is close to 10 lac CTC. Whereas in the case of IES institute the course fee is 5.3 lac per annum. The student can expect an average salary around the same to Welingkar. However, the highest package is offered more frequent in Welingkar compare to IES.
