Hello ,

To get admission in Medical colleges  through Management quota 450 marks in NEET would be enough .  Also your expected Rank based on your score will be ranging from 19200-19600.  But to get Free seat you need to score more than 500 marks to secure admission into a decent government medical college without any problem.

Srinivas, there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Cut offs here are based on the State you belong to. Few States have higher cut offs than the rest of the States. For example, Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences is a Deemed University. And the cut off for this College even after Stray Vacancy round was more than 500. Though it is under All India Counselling, it is just an example to demonstrate how cut offs change. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. So if you can help us with the State you belong to and Category you belong to, we shall help you with relevant cut off information.
