If u take admission under obc then considered as obc only. But sometimes unreserved seats are also given to obc who score good

Dear Student,

Basically general category is not only for general category students only. It is for all categories students. General category is basically unreserved category. Any one who scored above the cut off marks of general category student, is eligible for this category.

If an OBC Candidate gets a higher marks than general candidate than the OBC candidate can take the seat of a general candidate. That means that they may have applied under OBC category but the allotment will be done under general category.
