Dear aspirant,

If you clear basic cut  off mains or you qualify mains in general it does not gurantee you a  seat in NIT, for admission in NIT's you will have to score good marks and fall in the appropriate rank comparatively , then only you can get a seat into NIT colleges and your rank must be under 32k (but you will get branch like materials and metallurgical engg in nit's like nit srinagar for calicut,warangal , nit allahabad etc to you need to be under 5k-10k )for general category to get a seat at NIT's
