Hey,

Sorry to say but you can not drop any of the subject in BTech to get eligible in GATE exam. This will highly effect it.

This information is totally wrong .....if your university is allowing u to drop a subject then you can drop it ....at the end what matters is your degree but not what subs u have left .

Hello Rohit,

Yes there is an effect. You have to entirely clear the graduation in all subjects not even one subject should be left or having arrear.
