NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official notification at -
jeemain.nta.nic.in
As per the previous year’s JEE Main eligibility criteria, 75% criteria is removed for NIT and IIIT admissions. Following is the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains 2022 (will be confirmed when NTA releases official information bulletin)-
• Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.
• Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.
• No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam.
• Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.
• B.E/B.Tech: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).
B.Arch: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
B.Plan: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.
Now if you qualify all the eligibility criteria you can appear for the JEE Mains exam and after qualifying it you can appear for JEE advanced or IIT entrance examination .
JEE Mains 2021 and JEE Advanced 2021 has already taken place so you can't give the examination this year, though you can appear for exam next year.
