If you forget to lock your choices in NEET MCC counselling, the portal will automatically lock your last saved choices at the end of the choice-filling period.

So, you will still be considered for Round 1 seat allotment based on those saved choices.

You’ll only miss out if you didn’t save any choice at all — in that case, you won’t be allotted a seat in that round and will have to participate in the next one.

Hello Aspirant,

If you do not lock your preferences before the deadline, the MCC system will just lock your last saved preferences. Hence, you will still be eligible for seat allotment in Round 1 based on the preferences you had saved. Best to lock your preferences manually and safest way to go as it is time stamped.

If you forget to lock your choices in NEET MCC counselling the portal automatically locks your last saved choices at the time of choice-locking deadline.

This means you will still be considered for seat allotment in Round 1 based on whatever you had saved before the deadline.

The only risk is that you can’t make changes after auto-locking, and if you didn’t save any choice at all, you won’t be allotted any seat.

If you forgot to lock your choices in NEET MCC counselling, don’t worry you’ll still be considered for seat allotment in Round 1. MCC automatically locks your last saved choices after the deadline. But it’s always better to lock them yourself to be sure your preferences are in the right order.

You can still get a college in Round 1 , as long as you filled in your choices by the deadline. The system will automatically lock what you submitted last.

  • Your choices will still be considered during Round 1 seat allotment.

  • You won’t be disqualified just because you forgot to hit “lock.”

  • The system ensures that your submitted preferences are taken forward.

Hello!

If you forgot to lock your choices during NEET MCC counselling Round 1  you can still get a college if you had saved your choices before the last date. So,If your choices were filled and saved properly  they will be considered during the seat allotment process but if  you did not fill or save any choice at all  then you won’t be allotted any seat in Round 1.

You can still participate in Round 2 if you missed the Round 1.In future always remember to double check and lock your choices.
