Hi Sudheer,
Thanks for asking on this platform.
The pattern of JEE Advanced constantly changes and cutoff can vary tremendously. So, scoring 120 marks can be a good, bad or average performance. But, considering the last year's paper, the qualifying marks for general category was around 90, so scoring 120 and being an OBC candidate would have landed you a great IIT. But, we can not say for this year's paper as well because it might be very different from previous year. So, prepare for the worst and give your exam with all the confidence and you will get your favourite IIT.
Wish you all the best.
Hello!
JEE advanced eligibility criteria is 11 marks in each subject and an aggregate score of 81. It also requires you to have an aggregate percentage of 31.5. your score is not as important as your rank, as your score depends on the type of paper whereas your rank depends on how all the participants performed. So, with your score of 120, if your rank is around 1000-3000, you might get in IIT-B.
