Hello,

As per the details you have provided, yes you can join IIT but may not be Bombay campus. for IIT bombay the cutoff for Mechanical Branch is:-(Male)

  • general:- 305-845
  • Sc:- 38-180
  • ST:- 11-67
  • OBC:- 117-438

chances are there but it also depends on what will the rank cutoff kept this year. if your rank is near to 500 the your seat is secured for mechanical branch. You can apply for it.

also apply for other IITs where you have high chances.

Hope it helps!
