Hello Tanvi,

IPMATs eligibility criteria is 60% or above in HSC and you are thus eligible to register for the exam. However, IPMAT 2019 was conducted on 10th May 2019. You should then be looking towards IPMAT 2020.

The paper itself has 3 sections. Quantitative Ability (Short Answers), Quantitative Ability(MCQS) and Verbal Ability.

Each section among these will have their own cut off scores. The total expected cut off score for 2019 is 208-228.

After shortlisting, there is a Written Test and a Personal Interview.

Due to the thorough process for admission, if you are able to score very well in the IPMAT exam I believe you do still have a good chance of getting into IPMAT. The 50% in PCM will come up during your Personal Interview and you will have to convince your Interviewers that you are better than what your academics show. A strong IPMAT score much above the cut off will go a long way with that.
