Yes the result is valid it depends on you which board exam you give into consideration both are equally accepted. Bt remember only at a time should be given if you are submitting your document for CBSE then further you have to go with that only

I advice you to concentrate only one board as before the exam/results of any board you have to fill the jee mains application form in December on which you have to give the details of appearing/passed board like name of board, roll no., ...so on.

Yes For Jee mains any valid board will do even students from Nios can apply for the same .But concentrate on one board and score good grades approx above 80 percentile for the good chance of admission and further education support and it will impact on the time of Placement.
