You need not do anything to withdraw from the counselling process. You just have to refrain from approving you colleges that you got in round 1 if any. Withdrawal from the first round is free, that is you are penalized for not selecting the colleges allocated if any.

If you have participated in the first round of counselling and did not get any seat in that round then you will be automatically taken for the second round of counselling.
If you don't want to participate in the second round then you can login in your application after the first round and there you will get option for withdrawal of your name from second round.
You just need to go for that option to withdraw your name from counselling.
