Well dear,the cutoff's for government colleges go really high so I don't think so you will get government college by scoring 300,Also,since you have not mentioned the exam for which you are asking I can't tell you the predicted rank according to the previous year cut-offs.

But,the rank also depends upon various factors that like the highest marks scored by the topper,the cut-off,number of candidates that have given the exam,the category you belong in etc.
