For getting admission in CSE dept. in various colleges which may include NIT/GFTIs you just need to give JEE MAIN paper 1.

JEE Paper 2 is only for those students whose want to pursue their careers with B.Arch Degree only.

For qualifying for JEE Advanced only jee paper 1 scores are counted.

If you want to do only Computer science engineering then you have to give only paper-1 of jee mains no need to give jee mains paper-2. Jee mains paper-2 is for those who want to do architecture engineering so their is no need to give paper2.
