If you get a seat in cbit under b-category and submit all the required certificates and then get a seat through josaa counselling, the cbit management will not return your certificates and fees you paid.If they return your certificates ,they will ask you pay the tuition fees for all the four years of engineering as they will lose a seat which is already allotted. At the same time if you wait for josaa spot round donot submit certificates in cbit (and do not accept the seat) then it will be a big problem if you are not allotted any seat in josaa counselling.

If you are confident that you will get a seat in josaa counselling through your rank only then take a risk to appear for the spot round.Or else you might lose both the seats
