DC Pandey is a great book for Physics that is recommended by several teachers to prepare for JEE. The MCQ section also has several questions from previous year exams which can be helpful to understand the level of questions that come in the actual exam. A thorough go-through of DC Pandey and NCERT should be enough to qualify Mains. But if you want any suggestions for other books to solve more problems, I'd recommend HC Verma

Yes, MCQs from DC Pandey are sufficient provide you also read and understand the concepts mentioned in book and solved examples in detail. Besides DC Pandey, also do complete Previous Years Questions Chapterwise in Physics. My personal suggestion would be besides these two you should follow the two following books, if you are only targeting Mains

1. TMH JEE Mains Physics Book

2. Resonance JEE Main Rank Booster + DPP Package

Hello,

First you should complete NCERT and then complete HC Verma (Volume 1 and 2) and then you can move on to DC Pandey. If you have time and your concept is strong then you can choose to solve questions from IE Irodov. Although irodov is important for jee advance but if you want to get good marks in jee mains then you can solve question from irodov.
