Dear student,

In order to qualify the NEET UG entrance examination, there is a category wide minimum qualifying marks that one must attain.

The category wise aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 is as follows:-

  • Candidates belonging to General quota must have a minimum aggregate of 50 percentage
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must have a minimum aggregate of 40 percentage
  • Candidates belonging to PWD (persons with disabilities) quota must have a minimum aggregate of 45 percentage.

Thus, unless you belong to UR (Un Reserved, ie., General category), with 48 percent aggregate, and you score above the minimum cut off in NEET too, you will be eligible for an MBBS seat.

Hope that answers your query.

Good luck!
