Hey, Diploma is a good option for you. But one must have to do graduation instead of doing diploma after 12th. But from my side graduation is more important for good profile in jobs. So it is better to drop 1 year after 12th to prepare for entrance examination.

It depends on your preference and future goals.

After 12th you can also go for BE/Btech instead of 3 year diploma and get a better job. It is usually better if done after class 10th because then you can get admission in lateral entry in BE/Btech courses after diploma. You can also opt for jobs after diploma.
