If my percentile for jee mains january is 96.6 so my rank is nearly 29000 as near 896900 students participated...if in april 10lakh participate will my rank be calculated out from 10 lakh students or 896900 students...

Hello,

In January session 869010 candidates appeared in JEE main paper 1 so your expected rank can be calculated using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

And as said by you if 1000000 candidates appear in April session then your expected rank will be calculates using the formula (100- your total percentile)*1000000/100

Number of candidates apperead in April session will be used to calculate.And your expected rank changes,The best of two ranks will be considered for admission,
