You have to give your best efforts as you can't decide how much score you have to get. Try to score above 80% of total score which will keep you in safe side. If you have any reservation category then it will surely help you to open to more college options.
To get a rank below 1000, you have to score above 80% of total score.
For KCET, both entrance score and 12th score is considered. Not PCM score. It is added and normalized to make rank list. Both holds the same weightage. Ratio is 1:1.
