If one discontinues with BDS ,he/she is free to join any government medical college .But I would suggest you to leave BDS only if you have fair chances of getting a seat .Also ,you would be eligible to write neet next year ,but you can do so while continuing with BDS as well .Take calculative risks as BDS is also a good course.
