I would say if you're interested in marine engineering then it a good choice and can land you in great jobs.

After completion of marine engineering, you can get a job in ship construction and maintenance where technical knowledge is a must. Several Marine Engineering colleges offer teaching jobs also. The options are plenty with good packages, so, I would say that marine engineering is a good career to pursue in India.
