I regret to inform you that with such a low score you cannot get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like top nits or iiits.
As nits or iiits are one of the most sought after college in feild of engineering so they have high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission

42k rank can get your admission into lower nits like nit raipur , nit sikkim and all other northeast nits.
So its of no worth better you should either take part in any other councelling process or take admission into any prestigious private institutes.

Or atlast you can take a year drop to prepare harder for jee 2020.
