Yes, but their is only relaxation for SC/ST students.


In IIIT Allahabad : The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are exempted from paying the tuition fees. However, such candidates need to deposit the charges other than the tuition fees. Fees structure is designed as following-

For Gen/OBC students : Tution fees-- 60,000 ; Hostel rent+additional-- 26,100

For SC/ST/PWD students : Tution fees-- NiL ; Hostel rent+additional-- 26,100 (same for all students)


IN MNNIT Allahabad: The fees Draft of MNNIT is designed on the basis of Family Income of student. NIT Allahabad offers a 100% Tuition Fee waiver to all the students belonging to SC/ST/PH category also. see the below information-

Family income above 5 lakh/annum : tution fees-- 62,500 ; hostel rent+additional-- 36,000

Family Income between 1.00 Lakh to 5.00 Lakh/annum : tution fees-- 20833 ; hostel rent+additional-- 36000

Family Income less than 1.00 Lakh and SC/ST/PwD candidates : Tution fees-- NIL ; hostel rent+additional-- 36000
