The IIIT label is so renowned because it is an Institute of National Importance (INI), and in order to get into it, a student must crack and obtain a respectable rank in the IIT JEE Mains paper. The major IIITs are IIIT Surat, IIIT Allahabad, IIIT Gwalior, IIIT Lucknow, IIIT Jabalpur, and IIIT Guwahati, among others.

However, this does not imply that NITs are ineffective. NIT also offers good job opportunities. NIT Warangal is a well-known university that also provides high placement for its students, therefore it is entirely up to you where you want to go. IIIT Hyderabad is considered as being better to all nits. However, as a private institution, IIIT Hyderabad has relatively high tuition costs. Additionally, IIITs have much superior coding cultures than many NITs. Also, IIITs in Delhi and Allahabad are far superior to NITs in terms of coding.
