I'm 16 (will turn 17 in a few months) from India. Can I invest in the stock market?

Hello Dear,

As such there is as such no age restriction for investing in stock markets of India. But for that you need to open a bank account and then a DEMAT account which is linked to the savings account. However, a minor of 14 or 17 years can not open account. You can open an account with your parents as guardian till you attain an age of 18 years.
