Hello saurabh....
JEE is the common entrance test to get admissions in IIT's and NIT's.
Strategy that you need to use to score good in jee main and advance is very important .

Solve the previous question papers of both the mains and advance as you will get aware how the questions are asked in the exam.
Do solve past 20 years papers atleast.Every time you solve papers set a time limit.As "A goal set without time limit is a dream".
Every time maintain a short notes for all the important formulas and key concepts.
Do revise regularly.
Every concept is neecessary dont skip by saying it is not important.
Be sure that all the key concepts are covered and revised atleast twice before you write the exam.
NCERT text book is the Bible book for you it is the complete solution for all your concepts.
Get your notes prepared completely.
When you get near to the exam start writing mock test on the whole syllabus rather on single topic that improves your efficiency in final exam.
Never think that you are strong in a single subject because in final if you start with it and you face suddenly difficult questions first then it leads to loss of confidence and affects on whole performance.

At last be confident to attempt questions but dont guess any answers as you have negative markings which impact you very much.
