Computer Science and Information Technology both are almost same and also have a same job profile. In both of the course, subjects are almost same. So whatever you choose, you should have interest on that subject. But Cs is mostly preferred by most of students, it is more academic related, where as IT is a branch of CS. Both have its own merits offering prestigious jobs in the field of software.
