Taking into account your JEE Mains percentile and considering the fact that you are a SC category candidate, you should be able to get admission in HBTU Kanpur but only in one of the technology branches like Biochemical, Leather, Food, Plastic or Oil. These are the less preferred ones and you should be able to get admission in one of them.

JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.
EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.
