Hello,
Before letting you know about that whether physics and mathematics is important for baslp courses or not, let me tell you that the subjects covered in baslp courses are:

  • Audiology and auditory tests.
  • Speech-Language Development & Disorders.
  • Clinical Practicum: a) Speech-Language Pathology b) Audiology.
  • Articulation & Phonological Disorders.
  • Maxillofacial Anomalies.
  • Diagnostic Audiology.
  • Rehabilitative Audiology.
  • Voice & Laryngectomy.
  • Paediatric Audiology
  • Motor Speech Disorders in Adults
  • Noise Measurements & Hearing Conservation
So, looking over all these subjects it seems that YES physics and mathematics might have sone specific role in different baslp courses.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
