There's paper for Chemistry(CY) in Gate, for which you can apply,exam will be conducted for 180 minutes of total marks being 100, out of which General Aptitude is of 15 marks, and the subject is of 85 marks, you can get the syllabus of chemistry at https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/CY_bXYErRd.pdf

Apart from Chemistry, as per the official website it states candidates can simultaneously choose second paper in Chemical Engineering/Life Sciences. I am sure you know that from next year the Candidates will have the option to appear for not just 1 but 2 papers in GATE 2021 if they want.However the second paper has to be from the given set of combinations (which will be released soon). You can give gate exam in chemistry itself or go interdisciplinary and write it for some other subject like pharmacy or life science (there is no restriction in going interdisciplinary). You just have to check the eligibility first. All the best.
