GRE the most commonly required admission test for grad school. Much like the SAT and ACT, the GRE exam is a broad assessment of your critical thinking, analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills  all skills developed over the course of many years.
No specific eligibility criteria to pursue postgraduate programmes.

MS in Australia is a good option,and starting from now onwards will make you save lot of time.This is the perfect time to give the GRE test as its score is valid for 5 yrs.Rather you will get more time to think about it,if you give the test this year.Also,make a list of colleges you want to apply to,it will be more easier for you at the time when you are applying to the graduate colleges.Check out all the admission requirements,course syllabus,fees structure,prospectus,etc. to make sure you get all the information regarding your choice of graduate school.

If Australia is the place you chosen then you would not require GRE score for it. You need the TOEFL score and IELTS score that's all. GRE is required if you are planning for US.
