Hello
bandlasankaraiah
, From some research on internet I found that ECE has more scope in present time as well as in future also but Civil is a branch which is easy to learn and all and ece is hard. But take a branch on the basis of your interest.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)

Dear student,
Its a totally relative matter.Someone who likes construction of buildings, bridges, roads will prefer Civil engineering and someone who has interest in information and communication technology, softwares will prefer Electronics and communication engineering. But the hard truth is unless you are studying in a very good engineering colleges  it will be difficult for someone to get placed in a Civil engineering company. If you want do higher studies then it wont matter much in case of B.Tech.But choosing the correct stream is one of the most imortant stepping stones for an engineering student in India. There will be plenty of opportunities for an ECE student in terms of placement and higher studies even if he/she has done B.Tech from a tier 3 engineering college. So i would suggest you to choose ece over civil.
