Hello,

No, you will never get a seat in government medical college with rank 400.You should never expect that to happen and that too with general category. For a general category student you will have to score at least 550 above secure a seat in a government medical college.Aim for high and give your best.

Good Luck

Hello aspirant,

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is organized by the NTA (National testing Agency) once in a year by NTA. It is the only national level medical entrance exam. It is organized for providing admission in MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses offered by all Indian Medical colleges. In order to get admission in medical courses in abroad, candidates have to qualify the NEET UG exam.

Last year cut-off for UR category is 360 marks. But you have to score more than cut-off marks . NEET is one of the toughest exams of India. The no. Of applicants is huge. To get select in such of national exams you have to score more than 500marks with UR category. Don't loose hope. There still are more than 15 days for the exam. You should study hard and dont loose focus. You surely will shine in the exam. Other related queries will also be answered.

Good luck!!

Hi.

First of all, you should when you are preparing for competition, you should never think about your score, you should always think of securing good rank. This is the basic mistake most of students do. To give you an example: This year many student thought that scoring 500 marks would easily secure them an MBBS seat. But this year the cutoff went to 550. It may sound harsh but I'm sorry to say, 400 is not sufficient to land you in any government or even a private college through the centralized counseling. Also, if you have pockets deep enough to shell out 60-70 lacs minimum, only then think of taking admission in any private college through management quota

So, Think of securing good rank in your coaching and never give up.

Best of Luck, Future Doctor
