Yes . For clat exam for all MCQ there is a negative marking. Total 200 marks are there for 200 questions. For wrong answer 0.25 marks are reduced. Passing marks will be dependent on the difficulty of paper toppers marks and no of students appear for the same exam.

The CLAT entrance exam is of 200 marks in total for 200 question.

Here is the section wise marking scheme of CLAT.

1.General Knowledge and Current Affairs- 50 questions for 50 marks

2. Legal Aptitude- 50 questions for 50 marks

3. English- including Comprehension questions 40 for 40 marks

4. Logical Reasoning- 40 questions for 40 marks

5. Elementary Mathematics-20 question for 20 marks. 

The Marking scheme of CLAT is that you will be rewarded 1 mark for one correct answer. There is negative marking where 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

There is no passing marks in CLAT. Admission is done on the basis of ranks prepared on considering score of each candidate.
